While financials, prospective areas of growth, and other matters were discussed at Wednesday’s Clinton Hospital Authority meeting, the one major question everyone seems to have came up when talks turned to the impending sale of Clinton Regional Hospital from the City of Clinton to Rural Hospital Solutions and its partner 3rd Avenue West.

Clinton High School made the announcement Monday afternoon of four valedictorians and one salutatorian to represent the class of 2025.

Lillian Roush, a junior at Arapaho-Butler High School, paged for House Speaker Pro Tempore Anthony Moore, R-Clinton, from March 3-6 at the State Capitol.

Jesus Serrato-Aguero, 35, of Las Cruces, N.M., has been arrested on the charge of aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs, however the original Custer County charges have been dismissed so the case can move to federal prosecution.

The Oklahoma House of Representatives has approved a measure by Speaker Pro Tempore Anthony Moore, R-Clinton, that would give the children of longtime public school teachers access to the Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship. This pushes Moore’s bill one step closer to becoming a reality.
