The Clinton Public Schools Board of Education met for a few minutes Monday night to unanimously by a 5-0 vote approve the assistance of the Oklahoma State School Board Association as it looks for a superintendent to replace Tyler Bridges, who was named last week the superintendent in Stillwater.
Clinton High School student Joel Badillo represented Western Technology Center’s engineering program at the recent Oklahoma Technology Student Association State Leadership Conference in Norman. Badillo competed in Technology Problem Solving with Jantz Horton and then competed in Manufacturing Prototypes with teammates, Horton and William Long, both of Hammon. In both categories the WTC teams took first place and have qualified for Nationals in Nashville at the end of June.
Arapaho-Butler English teacher and academic coach Dana Dupree came to the conclusion after a number of years there was something missing for younger students in terms of academic contests.
