Local officials urge Clinton residents to vaccinate and register pets, both to ensure safety and to avoid incurring costly and avoidable fines. Heather Estrada, animal control officer for the City of Clinton, met with the Clinton Daily News to discuss the process for registration, consequences for owners of unregistered pets, and ways to keep pets and people safe from preventable diseases.
Tristan Lee Mullin, 23, of Custer City is awaiting trial after being arrested on charges of alleged domestic abuse by strangulation, domestic assault in the presence of a minor, malicious injury or destruction of property, transporting an open container, and resisting arrest.
Clinton Regional Hospital is making progress toward necessary repairs to the roof, though construction has not yet started. The Clinton Hospital Authority met Wednesday to discuss the next steps for the project, an agreement between the hospital and N’SYNC Consulting Services, recent events, and other accomplishments.
Tuesday the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA) announced it has merged with the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA).
After a short interview period, Clinton Public Schools has offered the newly opened assistant superintendent position to a yet to be announced candidate and is awaiting school board approval.
