The Custer County Oklahoma State University Extension Office announced the Custer County Jr. Livestock Show will be set up on two different schedules due to the time of the Southwest District Livestock Show.

Antonio Gonzalez, 39, and Matthew Daniel Boyd, 49, both of Tulsa, have been arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute and deriving proceeds from illegal drug activity.

Clinton is home to many family-owned businesses. Some of them have been around for years, and one of those businesses is Johnson Signs. Located just south of Clinton, just off of U.S. Highway 183, Johnson Signs has been around since 1991 and is responsible for many signs and decorations all around the city of Clinton.

The Clinton Public School Foundation budgets up to $50,000 a school year to Teacher Classroom Grants and Principal Site Grants through two grant cycles, one in the fall and one in the spring.

At the regular meeting of the Clinton Hospital Authority Wednesday at Clinton Regional Hospital, the standout order of business was the official approval of the contract with Dr. Bryan Bluth.

The Clinton City Council covered a lot of ground Tuesday night in its regularly scheduled meeting. Among the topics of conversation were Riverside Golf Course, approval of a memorandum of understanding with the West OK Co-Op, a change to the fencing regulations and standards, as well as the potential purchase of a rear-load trash truck.
