Several different agenda items were discussed at the Clinton Board of Education meeting Monday night and if there was a common theme to be determined, then it would be data, accountability, and teamwork. Supt. Nathan Meget talked with the board about tracking student achievement at all levels and taking a collaborative approach to improving reported numbers. One case illustrated was the high school’s goal of raising the collective ACT scores.

This year’s Custer County Free Fair had its fair share of friendly competition, with both the Tractor Driving Contest and the Farm Hand Olympics having several groups and competitors. Here are the results from those events.
