Clinton’s FFA chapter recently sent its cabinet of officers to participate in the Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference Sept. 16 at the Great Plains Technology Center in Lawton.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Gabriel Alejandro Venegas- Rios, 24, of Clinton, after a domestic incident which occurred July 27.
Things are moving along at the hospital, as was reported during the regular meeting of the Clinton Hospital Authority on Wednesday. As always, financial matters were the main topic of interest and like the previous meeting, the authority will not be going to the City for financial assistance this time.
A Nevada man has been arrested following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of alleged trafficked marijuana and counterfeit cash.
Clinton local and Arapaho- Butler senior Malley Baker recently placed first in the Sweet Bread Category of the Junior Division at the State “Best of Wheat” Bread Baking contest held Sunday at the Oklahoma State Fair. Her entry of Cinnamon Roll Twist with Brown Butter Frosting placed ahead of the other entries in the class.
Mario Salcido Trevizo, 59, of Clinton, has been arrested after allegedly driving under the influence and evading law enforcement in a low-speed chase, allegedly refusing to adhere to commands.
