With many people’s cup of coffee being an integral part of their day, Clinton High School alumna Chloe Bailey has taken the chance to connect with the community as a friendly face behind the brew.

Oklahomans in western communities now have a new option for support with unclaimed property. The Oklahoma State Treasurer’s Office has opened its first regional Unclaimed Property Office in downtown Clinton, at 420 Avant Ave., Suite B. The function of this new office will offer in-person assistance to help individuals begin the claims process, gather necessary documentation, and reconnect with people with their rightful funds.

For the second time in a span of essentially six months, Clinton voters approved the sale of Clinton Regional Hospital from the City of Clinton to Rural Hospital Solutions.

After last week’s storms and flooding causing a venue change for the Brubeck Brothers Quartet, this week the Levitt AMP Clinton Music Series will make a return at 7:30 p.m. this Friday at the R.A. “Dick” Lloyd Amphitheatre in McLain Rogers Park, with Jared Deck making his return as well.

When it was announced the Glancy Motor Hotel would be torn down, many people were concerned the landmark sign would fall victim to the wrecking ball as well. That will not be the case.

During Tuesday’s Clinton City Council meeting there were topics quickly considered, including a public hearing to address the proposed annual budget for the City’s fiscal year of 2025-2026.
