CHS looks to bounce back

An 8-3 start to the 2020 season put the Clinton softball team on the winning track heading into this week. Even with some of those wins coming against junior varsity squads, it set them up well.

Mark down a major win streak for the Arapaho-Butler softball team, as it swept the Leedey Tournament’s day one games to win its third and fourth-straight contests Thursday.

Arapaho-Butler athletics are off to good starts in both fall sports, with the softball team carrying a 4-2 record through six games to go together with baseball’s 3-2 mark.

It’s been almost two weeks since the initial start date, but the Clinton volleyball team is expected to open the season Saturday at the Weatherford Tournament.

ARAPAHO – The Arapaho-Butler baseball team is off to its best start since the 2017 fall campaign, boasting an overall record of 3-2 through the first five games of the season.

Just two days remain, until Clinton football fans get their first in-game look at the team for the 2020 season.

Monday’s district opener for the Clinton fastpitch softball team got off to a rough start that concluded in a 17-2, runrule defeat at the hands of Elgin.

WOODWARD-In a week's time, the Clinton softball team (8-3 overall, as of press time Monday) has recorded the best start in the Lisa Moss era, climbed more than halfway to last year's win total and notched a five-game win streak after a successful Woodward Tournament.
