HYDRO – A strong Hydro-Eakly Labor Day Tournament performance moved the Arapaho-Butler baseball team (9-8 overall as of press time Tuesday) above .500 and vaulted the program into the Class A rankings, at No. 19.

In a seesaw second half, the Clinton football team scored 19 unanswered points on its way to a 26-7 lead and nearly watched it vanish, on the rallying arm of Woodward’s sophomore quarterback Sam Cheap.

Whirlwinds wallop Cache in opener

A 6-6, tie ballgame late in the second quarter, appeared destined to go into half that way for the Clinton eighth grade football team and the Cache Bulldogs.
