HOBART – The Clinton softball team (3-3 overall for summer) rebounded after dropping both its games Thursday, with an 8-7 win over 2019 Class A State Tournament team Canute, before falling 8-2 to Navajo in the second game of the doubleheader Monday afternoon.
From catching passes and blocking defenders to hitting home runs and pitching shutouts, 2019 Clinton graduate Valek Cisneros is making the transition from college football tight end, a.k.a. a Cowboy back, at Oklahoma State to college baseball pitcher and utility fielder at Eastern Oklahoma State College.
The Clinton football team sits at No. 20 in Maxpreps’ annual alltime winningest football program rankings with 816 wins.
