PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (AP) — A high school principal in Oklahoma was shot in the leg Tuesday after confronting a man who entered the school with a gun, authorities said.

Deputy Dalton Butler had a momentous first day on the job for the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, as he and a fellow deputy rendered likely life-saving measures to a Butler man caught in an oil site explosion Monday morning.
Southwest Playhouse will be putting on a production of “Dial M for Murder” on April 17-19 as well as April 24-26. The cast may be small, but according to Director Aleta Bowman, each detail has been meticulously worked on.
