Oklahoma State Auditor & Inspector (SA&I) Cindy Byrd recently released her forensic audit report for the City of Konawa in Seminole County. Auditor Byrd launched the investigation after receiving a request from the city council in 2020. Additional investigations were requested in 2021 and 2023.

On Thursday, the Clinton Regional Hospital Authority held a brief special meeting. In order to accommodate the needs of the hospital, the authority elected to accept the other $125,000 pre-approved by the City at the Oct. 21 Clinton City Council meeting.
At Thursday night’s Arapaho Town Council, the hot topic of the evening was the firework ordinance, which councilmembers determined should be kept as-is.
