PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The Democratic primary to take on Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine was shaken up Wednesday by the decision of one candidate to drop out and join a different race with similarly high stakes.

Clinton High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony for the newest class of sophomore students selected to join last week at the Clinton Middle School Auditorium.

In an attempt to overturn the forfeit from the Clinton High School vs. Douglass football game result, Clinton Supt. Nathan Meget pleaded with the board for the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
