A fourth individual has been arrested in connection with the shooting that occurred at Hutch’s on Dec. 22, after it was found they allegedly withheld information during the investigation.

Oilfield activity is picking up in Custer County, as was discussed at Monday’s meeting of the county commissioners. Warnings of wildfires continue to singe the edges of the conversations, though Custer County has, so far, been lucky in comparison to some of its neighbors, and has even been able to offer assistance.
