Fire chief urges grill safety

As summer continues, the days will only become warmer, and Clinton Fire Department Fire Chief Brett Russell says it is important to prevent fires while participating in summer activities. He said from grilling outside and practicing good procedures, to making sure electrical cords are in place correctly when trying to stay cool during the heat, a fire can be prevented.

Customers make the difference at Place of Grace

Doloris Wilson and her daughter Dara Moser have owned the downtown small business Place of Grace together for the last 12 years. Doloris has also owned State Beauty Supply with her husband Warren Wilson for the past 33 years.
