Clinton resident Gordon Lee Hawthorne, 43, is facing charges for domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and obstructing an officer.
Samantha Aispuro, agency producer with Misty Gossen Farmers Insurance, said she will be filing for Ward 3 on the Clinton’s City Council. The filing period for Wards 1 and 3 will be July 12-14 at the Custer County Election Board.
Around 1:45 p.m. Monday this vehicle, occupied by two people from Little Rock, Ark., was involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident in the westbound lane of Interstate 40, halfway between Clinton and Weatherford. The passenger was tended to and transported to the Clinton hospital by Sinor EMS. The driver was reported to be OK.
