City Council filing over; three file

Clinton’s City Council filing ended Wednesday at 5 p.m. with one candidate, Ernesto Villanueva, for Ward 1 and two candidates, Patch McComas and Samantha Aispuro, for Ward 3.

Clinton’s AllianceHealth Board of Trustees announced Wednesday the appointment of Tracy P. Byers as the local hospital’s new chief executive officer, effective Aug. 8.
