During the regular Clinton Public School board meeting Monday evening, board members approved entering a contract with OPAA! Food Service Management Company for the 2021-2022 school year.

Serving the community lemonade

A 61-year-old California man was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City after he and his two dogs were struck by a car while they were standing in the eastbound lane of Interstate 40 approximately eight miles west of Clinton around midnight Monday.

Officer passes knowledge to youth

Now that the wheat harvest season is nearing its end, cotton and milo are the next crops farmers are preparing to harvest, according to Richard Metschar at the Clinton Farmers Cooperative Association.

As of noon on Tuesday, there are no new filings for city council. Samantha Aispuro filed Monday for Ward 3 and so far no one has filed for Ward 1.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association’s (OCA) 69th annual convention and trade show occurs July 23 and 24 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Norman.
