Early morning wreck

Clinton Police Officer Mario Cedillo, left, and Sgt. Peter Porcher inspect the wreckage Monday morning of a motorcycle that had run into the back of a pickup in the 2200 block of Gary Boulevard. Around 7:30 a.m. Andrew Arnold was riding the motorcycle at an alleged high rate of speed entering Gary Boulevard when he ran into the back of the truck driven by Kenneth Hamar. Arnold was ejected from the bike and suffered leg injuries in the process. CDN

Clinton Public School Superintendent Tyler Bridges decided to not apply for the recently announced School Counselor Corps Grant from the Oklahoma State Department of Education Bridges has plans to do more for Clinton’s schools than the grant could.
