On Tuesday’s meeting of the Clinton Economic Development Authority, trustees met to discuss what to look for in a candidate for CEDA’s next director and heard a presentation from local business owner Jason Smith on what an ideal candidate should look like. Smith also expressed interest in the position, which led to some discussion as to whether the best course of action would be to make an immediate hire or allow time to formally post the job and potentially consider more candidates.
