Several events across the state have been cancelled, OSU Ext. With the holiday season bringing community and togetherness, Clinton Public School’s REDS 365 after-school tutoring program continues to focus its efforts into supporting students and families within the community.

“Oklahoma!” will be coming to the McLain Rogers Amphitheater in a production performed by Southwest Playhouse for the Centennial Celebration of Route 66 in 2026, as was discussed at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Clinton City Council. City Manager Robert Johnston also announced the Clinton Public Works Authority was approved for an FAP loan from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB), following a meeting that he and Public Works Director Gene McCullough had with the board in the city early on Tuesday.

Last week, 2025 property taxes were mailed out to Custer County residents, and property owners should be on the lookout for those documents.

The identity of the man shot and killed Friday morning in Weatherford and charges for the suspect have been updated by the Weatherford Police Department.
