An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper is being recognized for his quick thinking and action last week, which likely saved a life.

City Manager Robert Johnston also announced the Clinton Public Works Authority was approved for an FAP loan from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB), following a meeting that he and Public Works Director Gene McCullough had with the board in the city early on Tuesday.
