The Clinton Public School district received a donation of 40 pallets filled with Lysol brand disinfectant wipes, totaling approximately 4 million individual Lysol wipes. The large donation, equivalent to about $300,000, is an amount almost too generous for CPS. Superintendent Tyler Bridges said they intend to distribute most of the wipes to Clinton Regional, Meritt, Burns Flat, Thomas, Arapaho-Butler and Weatherford Public Schools.

The City of Clinton has received approval for a $1,262,382 grant from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) funded through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for important upgrades and improvements to the City’s water system. The grant, which has been a year in the making, was officially approved Thursday during a regular meeting of the OWRB.
