Demolition for Clinton’s Midtown Inn is on pause after developers with West Ok Co-Op presented preliminary plans to redevelop the property during Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Clinton City Council.
As of press time Wednesday, Charlene Wassana has filed for the Clinton Public School’s Board of Education Dist. 4 seat and will face CaraLea Kreizenbeck who filed for candidacy on Monday for the seat currently held by Dr. Floyd Simon Jr.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma man at the center of a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling on tribal sovereignty has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors less than a week before he was to go to trial, according to court documents.
