An Arapaho woman died as the result of a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on State Highway 47 and N. 2310 Rd., 7 miles west of Thomas.
Supt. Tyler Bridges confirmed he has accepted the superintendent position for Stillwater Public Schools. He was officially hired there this afternoon.

Before Monday’s meeting of the Custer County commissioners began, Custer County Emergency Management Director Michael Galloway walked by Sheriff Dan Day and the veteran lawman said, “Short timer.”
