With temperatures dipping below zero, these cows owned by Steve and Janie Stermer huddle together for warmth. Many farmers and ranchers have been scurrying in the bitter cold to make sure their animals have access to water and food. In the photo below, the surface of Clinton Lake appears to be a solid sheet of ice. Another round of snow was forecast for today and temperatures are not expected to be above freezing until Friday.
