The City of Clinton has begun preparing for the potential winter storm over the long weekend, as well as provided some tips for staying safe.
The Clinton City Council will hear presentation from Oklahoma Department of Transportation representatives regarding the proposed Exit 65/65A improvements during its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
Varying weather reports have western Oklahoma slated to receive anywhere from 5 to 20 inches of snow over the next few days and the Clinton Daily News has contingency plans in place should distribution become interrupted due to possible blizzard-like conditions.
Funeral services for Maxine Pearl Gore, 77, of Taloga, will be held at 9 a.m. today at Taloga High School.
