The No. 13 Arapaho-Butler baseball team (3-2 overall) went 1-1 in its first two games at the Wright City Festival.
It’s been a wild ride for slow-pitch softball since it returned to Clinton High School in 2019, as the program played just one season, before CO- VID-19 shut down the program in 2020, and now, it returns with a new head coach in Shawn Finch.
Winter and spring college athletes that graduated from Clinton are already making their names at the next level.
The Clinton baseball team (0-2 overall, 0-1 in district) opened district play, with a 13-3, run-rule loss at Elk City (2-2, 1-0) Monday.
