Clinton High School alum and current dean of the Oklahoma State University School of Global Studies and Partnerships, Dr. Randy Kluver, is returning to Clinton Tuesday to speak at a luncheon hosted by the Rotary Club and Clinton Chamber of Commerce. Kluver will speak on his role as an international global partner and his work at OSU.
The Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America) Troop 361 and Cub Scout Pack 361 will be hosting an information and sign-up night for prospective scouts and their parents at 6:30 – 8 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Clinton located at 1001 Frisco Ave. Scouting is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 17 years old.
The Clinton Fire Department, Animal Control and Solid Waste Department were all involved in rescuing six puppies Wednesday out of a ditch near 40th Street and Modelle Avenue. The four-week-old puppies were taken to the Clinton Police Department where they will be held for 48 hours as strays before emergency foster homes are found.
