OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma death row inmate convicted of raping and killing a University of Oklahoma dance student in 1996 is seeking to have his death sentence thrown out, alleging in a court filing that his late father was the actual killer.
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma firearms dealer is under investigation after more than 200 shotguns were found in a dumpster outside a store he owns in suburban Oklahoma City, according to a search warrant by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Clinton’s Eastside Academy is continuing to provide free tutoring and academic-focused activities through its after- school program open for all Clinton students grades Pre-K through sixth. Founded in 2003 by the late Lillian Collins, the academy continues to provide students with a safe space to learn.
The Clinton City Council authorized City Manager Robert Johnston to begin preparing a request for proposals for solid waste disposal services after the City’s current solid waste disposal service, Republic, notified the City it would not be extending its current lease once it ends in July.
