Grant money projects near completion

Projects funded by the Midwestern Oklahoma Development Authority $25,000 match grant that was awarded to Clinton earlier this year are almost complete.

The Oklahoma Equal Opportunity Education Scholarship Act (ESA) will allow the Clinton Public School District to receive up to $200,000 of donated funds, and tax paying donators may receive a tax credit worth 50% of the donated amount starting Jan. 1, 2022. School board members approved a policy recognizing the Clinton Public School Foundation as the designated organization to accept and handle the district’s donations during Monday’s regular meeting.
