Lady Reds capture Riverside tourney crown

Home is where the tournament hardware is for the Clinton High School girls’ golf team. Wednesday the Lady Reds welcomed teams to the Riverside Golf Course and proceeded to shoot 363 as a team to claim the tournament championship.

CHS soccer cruises over Astec

Before the Clinton High School soccer teams could set sights on more competitive opponents, Tuesday the Lady Reds and Red Tornadoes went through the formality of dispatching Astec Charter in a pair of blowouts at the Tornado Bowl.

Reds struggle in second contest against Elk City

What could be better than baseball in April? Meaningful baseball against the undefeated top team in the district. Tuesday the Clinton High School baseball team welcomed Elk City with the hopes of extending its lead for third place in the district standings over Kingfisher as well as trying to upset the top undefeated team in it.

CHS track stars shine at Ardmore Meet

ARDMORE – Even with having fewer entrants than their opponents, the Clinton Red Tornadoes and Lady Reds finished within the top 10 for both the boys’ and the girls’ events Monday at the Ardmore Invitational Track Meet.

This weekend the Clinton High School baseball team competed in a tournament at Newcastle and went 1-2 in the process.

Sayre tourney champs

The Arapaho-Butler boys’ golf team won the Sayre Invitational last week. From left are Clint Powell, 82, second place; Aiden Casas, 115; Blake Hunter, 93, eighth place; Gage Grube, 93, tenth place; and Ryan Schoeppach, 91, seventh place. The Indians won the tournament with a 359 total.
