Funeral services for Mary Etta Statser, 90-year-old, Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, were held Monday, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson and Daniel Mosburg officiating. Burial followed in Stafford Cemetery, west of Clinton, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Dennis Wayne Shaffer

Dennis Wayne Shaffer, age 77, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born in Clinton, OK, on September 26, 1947, to Lloyd and Maxine (Hale) Shaffer. He graduated from Clinton High School and went on to attend Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, he was drafted into the Army and went to Vietnam.

Theresa S. Mayes

Theresa S. Mayes, age 76, a longtime resident of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the River Valley Nursing Facility. She was born on September 15, 1948, in Tulare, California, to Cleo and Masaline (Martin) Sutton.

Funeral services for Otis DeWayne Armstrong, 70, will be held at noon Feb. 25 at Schaudt’s Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service Center in Glenpool.
