Loretta Faye (Hankins) Chenault, affectionately known by all as Faye, went to heaven on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of the family she so dearly cherished. She was 84 years old.
Funeral services for Loretta Faye Chenault, 84, of Shawnee, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at First Baptist Church.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of fellowship, hors d’oeuvres, storytelling, and sharing memories of Mitch’s life. Military Honors will be presented at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Floyd “Sonny” Wesley Webb II was born on October 7, 1937, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Gwendolyn (Rainey) Webb. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1955 and later attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, where he met the love of his life, Margo Laws. Sonny and Margo were married on October 27, 1956, beginning a loving partnership that would span nearly 70 years.
