Clinton Public School District’s long-term capital improvement plan has evidently received an abundance of positive feedback from the community. Superintendent Tyler Bridges said he presented the plan to approximately 500 people so far, and he is happy with the outcome.

Clinton’s sales tax collections this fiscal year are currently 17% above those at the same point last calendar year, said City Treasurer Debra Blanchard. The city has collected six months’ worth of sales tax for the 2021-2022 fiscal year totaling almost $3.1 million.
