Clinton Regional Airport’s insurance company, Travelers, has assessed a majority of the airport’s damages caused by the tornado that passed through Oct. 12. Clinton City Manager Robert Johnston said Travelers offered slightly more than $500,000 between two different insurance policies covering the hangars, terminal building, runway and equipment.
Clinton resident John Eric Barron, 31, has been charged with uttering a forged instrument for allegedly cashing a $3,600 fraudulent check. A warrant was issued Dec. 12 for his arrest.
