Just weeks after the management at the Clinton Riverside Golf Course changed, City Manager Robert Johnston is touting ongoing improvements being made at the course as he and other City leaders begin to look to the course’s future.

Keegan Kodaseet, 35, of Clinton, has been charged with trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of a controlled dangerous subject, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer after Clinton Police observed a male subject, later identified as Kodaseet, prowling along Gary Boulevard in the early morning hours of Dec. 7.

HOST Ministries sets Christmas meal

HOST Ministries is holding a Community Christmas Meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 23 in its church at 605 Avant Ave. This year’s meal is only the second year the church has held the event, with the last meal happening in 2021. However, Senior Pastors Wilma and Leonard Jackson say they intend to make it an annual event so they can ensure those in need have a home cooked Christmas meal every December.
