The employment of Clinton Economic Development Director Roland Mower has continued to be a discussion of the Clinton Economic Development Authority, as the board has been in talks to revise Mower’s current contract for weeks, including during a regular meeting Tuesday in which the authority voted to continue Mower’s contract through the end of the year and approach the Clinton City Council for funding to continue the contract through the 2024 fiscal year.

Clinton FCA conducts

The students in the Clinton Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) have raised funds and collected toys for their Toy Drive, an event they’ve conducted to make sure that selected children in need will receive toys and other gifts for Christmas. For this event, L.J. Williams, FCA sponsor, has created a list of families in the district that need help with gifts for their kids on Christmas. Today, those parents will visit Williams’ room at CHS and select presents out of the FCA stockpile.
