The shutdown of the federal government may soon directly impact households receiving SNAP benefits on Nov. 1, if a resolution cannot be reached before then.

Two schedule changes for local football games were made due to possible inclement weather and a lack of manpower.

The Clinton Public Schools Board of Education discussed several different topics relating to the current state of the school district, during their recent monthly meeting.

In stark contrast to previous Clinton City Council meetings for the past few months, audience participation was a central part of Tuesday night’s gathering. Attendance was unusually high, a fact that was remarked upon by Mayor David Berrong.
