Children eligible for free books

Parents with children under the age of 5 who live in the 73601 zip code are now eligible to sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which helps to provide one free book a month to children from birth to 5 years old.

The City of Clinton will soon decide whether the $11.6 million set aside in the hospital trust fund can be accessed to help restore the Clinton hospital during a special election set for March 7. Only registered voters who live within the Clinton city limits are eligible to vote in the election.

The Custer County 2023 Junior Livestock Show has concluded after a weekend filled with successful livestock shows, and results for the sheep division, broiler chicken division and swine division have been announced.
