Clinton’s City Council members called a special meeting Tuesday evening to discuss and take action on the potential condemnation of three properties. Code Enforcement Officer Toby Anders recommended all properties should be condemned as they are a nuisance and fire hazard to the town.

Local Girl Scouts travel to Savannah, Ga.

Girl Scouts from Troop 510 of Clinton visited Savannah, Ga., as a reward for selling Girl Scout cookies over the past few years. On this trip, the Girl Scout troop had the opportunity to see the historical landmarks of the Girl Scout organization and the sights of Savannah and surrounding towns. They also learned individual and group leadership skills along the way.
