Making a home for birds

After a hiatus of hosting the event, Clinton Cornerstone Church will hold the Beast Feast once again Saturday with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the meal being served at 6 p.m.

Ongoing road reclaiming and preparation for mowing season were the top topics of discussion for Custer County commissioners this week during their regular meeting Monday. With needed rain in the forecast this week, commissioners say they are preparing for problems that may arise with it.

Clinton High School students had the opportunity to have a behind-thescenes look at the legislative process through paging. Mindy Sawatzky, left, had the opportunity to page with State Rep. Anthony Moore, while Kenzie Kauk, right, was able to page for State Sen. Darcy Jech. Both students were able to see what being a legislator is like while providing assistance to them during the busy legislative session.

Two men were injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon five miles south of Weatherford.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Freeway, the sea lion rescued after wandering inland from his ocean home and crossing busy San Diego thoroughfares, has been euthanized after falling ill.

Responded to a motor vehicle accident without injuries in the 900 block of W. Gary Blvd.
