The Clinton Public Schools Foundation will be holding its annual Scholar’s Day Picnic to celebrate Clinton High School students in the top 10% of their respective graduating classes. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Tornado Dome, located at 2130 W. Gary Blvd.
Challenges at Clinton Regional Hospital continue after last week’s Clinton Hospital Authority meeting led to the termination of the management agreement between the City and Carrus Health along with the ending of pay and benefits for hospital employees. With those decisions made, the City says it is still working to decide the best path forward to reopening the hospital.
Clinton High School Mock Trial students sorting through costumes to prepare for the upcoming Mock Trial Dinner Theatre fundraiser set to be held Tuesday, from left, are Brycen Farmer, Kristian Bennett and Jason Goodman. People may purchase tickets any time before 3 p.m. tomorrow. Funds raised will go to benefit the CHS Mock Trial program.
Progress has started to be seen at Southwest Elementary to make the school a few steps closer to see work on the new buildings set to be added to the campus through Clinton Public Schools’ Capital Improvement Project.
