Reestablishing a longtime dynasty that falls on hard times isn’t easy, but Clinton football is officially back on that path with a Class 4A state runner-up finish in 2020.
Wins over rivals are always sweet, but a win on the road, against a ranked, previouslyundefeated rival is hard to top – the No. 4 Arapaho-Butler boys’ basketball team (8-0 overall) did just that last Thursday, defeating No. 10 Canute (7-1), 56-49.
BLANCHARD – Both Clinton basketball teams got on the floor for the first time this season Friday and flashed some of their potential in a pair of losses to the Blanchard Lions.
WEATHERFORD - No prior matches proved to be no problem, for the No. 15 Clinton wrestling team, as many of its wrestlers were in quality, high-placing form at Weatherford’s Max Dippel Memorial Tournament Friday and Saturday.
