In his only year with the Clinton High Reds basketball, senior DJ Lister is making the most of every moment he has with his new team as they fight through the long season on the hardwood.

University of Oklahoma running back Tory Blaylock and defensive back Courtland Guillory were named to the SEC All-Freshman Team, the conference office announced Thursday. Selections were made by the league’s head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.

The Associated Press announced its All-SEC teams Wednesday, and Oklahoma wide receiver Isaiah Sategna III, kicker Tate Sandell and punter Grayson Miller were named to the All-SEC First Team in a vote by media members who cover the conference on a regular basis. Three more Sooners – defensive linemen Gracen Halton and R Mason Thomas and linebacker Owen Heinecke – were named to the All-SEC Second Team.

With both teams looking to start winning streaks in the early parts of the season, the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders took on the Olustee-Eldorado Diamondbacks Thursday at home.
