Tim Davis, owner of Clinton Ice, was presented the honor of Clinton Citizen of the Year Friday night at the annual awards banquet hosted by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
According to Clinton City Manager Robert Johnston, the heavy equipment parked at the Glancy Motel has nothing to do with the motel property.

Clinton’s United Fund board approved a goal of raising $40,000 after meeting with four non-profit agencies Monday evening.
The cast for Clinton’s Southwest Playhouse “The Addams Family Musical” has been decided. Director Marjorie Anderson and Musical Director Melissa McSpadden stated they are looking forward to bringing this musical to life.
The annual Custer County Free Fair will be held Sept. 8-11 at the Custer County Fairgrounds in south Clinton, on the west side of U.S. Highway 183.
