EMS director

Director Twila Ashcraft of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Emergency Medical Services talked about the many challenges COVID-19 has brought her department. CAT EMS works across nine different counties to serve tribal members. That coverage area consists of Roger Mills, Beckham, Custer, Washita, Dewey, Woodward, Blaine, Canadian, and Kingfisher counties.

Bid awarded for 183 project

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission awarded a $22.1 million contract for a new fourlane highway on U.S. 183 between Cordell and Rocky at its monthly meeting this week.

Clinton Public Schools will have free meals available to students 18 and under next week during spring break, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nance Elementary School located at 300 S. 11th St.

March book madness
