DEAR HARRIETTE: I am a bad driver, and I'm constantly scared I am going to crash. I grew up in a suburb, but I have been thinking of moving to a bigger city, like Los Angeles, New York City or Washington, D.C., for job possibilities. Having a car in these cities isn't totally necessary but would make my life a lot more convenient. My driving skills, however, would not be able to withstand the crazy traffic of the city. I'm scared I would crash and do a poor job of driving and navigating my way through the city.

Clinton Police have finally released new details in a shooting that took place in the early morning of June 24 in the 1600 block of Deputy Drive after Terence Darrell McBrayer, 34, of Clinton, was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, assault and battery by means likely to produce death and possession of a firearm while committing a felony and Kaylie Dawn Tucker, 30, of Clinton, is wanted on charges of first-degree burglary.
This month’s Friends on Frisco theme is “Back-to-School Bash” as students return to roam the halls of local education institutions that day. To celebrate tomorrow downtown Frisco will be active.
For those that wish to keep the party going now that the Levitt Amp Concert Series has come to an end this summer, local churches are hosting a free “Praise in the Park” night at McLain Rogers Amphitheater from 6-9 p.m. Friday.
Friday nights this summer were filled with live music at the McLain Rogers Amphitheater thanks to the Levitt Amp Clinton Concert Series funded in part by a grant from the Levitt Foundation. With one year under their belt, organizers say they look forward to improving the three-year concert series next year in its sophomore year.
