ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter was given 12 months’ probation and a $1,000 fine on Thursday after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing related to a crash that killed Bulldogs offensive lineman Devin Willock and a recruiting staff member.

Frazier ushered in golden era of Clinton football

When one thinks of Clinton football and head coaches, most will mention Mike Lee. Some may think of Dave Meadows, and both are well deserving to be mentioned when Clinton football comes up in any conversation, but the one that brought the first state championship to Clinton was Jim Frazier. I had the pleasure of talking to him this past weekend. Here is some of his story about how he came to Clinton, the success he had here and about some of the players he coached while at Clinton.
