BLANCHARD – For the second straight week, the Clinton football team had the lead, had the ball late in the fourth quarter and needed just a couple first downs to clinch another upset, playoff win Friday night in the Class 4A semifinals.

The No. 9 Clinton football team (8-3 overall) continues its road-warrior, upset tour to the program’s 26th state title appearance, ending the No. 5 Blanchard Lions’ season (10-3) in the process.

The No. 9 Clinton football team (7-3 overall) goes on the road once again, for another big-time playoff matchup. The Red Tornadoes take on the No. 5 Blanchard Lions (10-2) at 7 p.m. tonight, for the right to play for next week's state title.
Fans of the Clinton football team and students at all Clinton Schools will have multiple opportunities to send off the Red Tornadoes to the state semifinals today.
