Thursday afternoon the sports world saw unprecedented decisions come down, as major events were either postponed or cancelled altogether with the rising concern over COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Amidst the swirling cancellations of other sporting events across the state and beyond, Clinton track hosted its first home track meet in nearly three decades Thursday.

NORMAN – Jumping right into the elite competition, the Clinton tennis program opened its season at one of the toughest events of the year Tuesday at the Westwood Tournament.

The OSSAA made an official announcement Thursday about the rising concern over CO- VID-19, also known as the coronavirus, stating that the basketball state tournament games have been postponed, and it’s up to the district’s discretion on whether to continue other sports.
