Reds swat ’Jackets

KINGFISHER – “Old Clinton football” is a statement that calls back to the glory days, where the Red Tornadoes were regularly competing and beating the best in the state, and Friday’s 21-10 physical punishment of the Kingfisher Yellowjackets contained some classic CHS play.

CHS season abruptly ends

Thursday the Clinton volleyball team was supposed to be in Cache, competing in the regional tournament, but it instead saw its season end early due to a COVID-19 exposure and quarantine.

Friday, Oct 2, 2020 marked the 50th anniversary of the Wichita State football team plane crash that claimed 31 lives, including Clinton’s own Randy Kiesau.
